2017 - #hongkongtravelogue

Hi guys! It has been a good 1 year since I last posted this space! Well, I didn't make my promise to coming here and blog often as I mentioned last year but hey! better late then never right? hehe
Just to talk a little about my work now. I've been working with this hotel for a year plus already. Previously there was almost a 'miscarriage' because I was almost out of job. It was quite a tough period I must say, being asked to leave my current work position to something that I won't see myself enjoy doing it, to almost tender my resignation but there was some changes again; as much as we did not want the current staff to leave, but apparently the management have to make a choice: is either I stay or she leaves.
So far I got myself slightly improve I think, but as much as in the end I choose to stay, I got a bit regret... well I hope for the best now!
Anyway, want to make use of this time to update this space! Just came back from the recent trip - Hong Kong! Well is my 4th time there this year, the last time I went with my friends was 2 years ago, for new year countdown trip! But this time round, is almost no agenda kind of trip, which was not so bad!
Highlights of the trip
1. Victoria Peak
To be honest, despite my 4th time here in Hong Kong, it was my first time going up there! 2 years ago when I was there, it was an impromptu trip to go there because I didn't go there before. But because it was - holiday season + peak period (saturday) + night time; the queue to get the tickets up was horrible, it was like all the way out to the main road that kind of queue, so we decided to drop the idea.
But this time round, we went around late afternoon and the queue was surprisingly fast! We took the tram up and it was quite torturing actually haha! We didn't take much photos, so I just post the night view of the Peak! Oh, we managed to stay till night time and as I guessed it, usually night time tends to have more people, so we made the right chose to come in the late afternoon and stayed through the evening before we go for our dinner!
2. 鶴咀行山 海岸景觀遊
This was proposed by the bf! And I thought ok la since hong kong nothing much except the food and things there is still as usual so expensive so should spend time looking at the nature, one day not so bad! Not in a proper trekking attire but then I got my trusty Uniqlo jacket! One of the best buy from Hong Kong and is cheaper than Singapore, can you believe it! Some more is the last one in my size ok!! #luckyshit
Still, managed to snap 2 photos because was busy admiring the good view.
This pose was done like this because my cap was almost blown away hahaha!! Oh and bought from Cotton On! Love the pink!
Omg love this breathtaking view when making our way back to the bus stop.
And then in the night, we went to Stars Avenue. But unfortunately, no more showcasing the handprint on the floor because almost half of the place was closed for some upgrading or renovation. Oh well, the ambience and the company matters the most at the end of the day :)
And the rest just trying to show you guys the new sneakers I managed to get for sale! #happygirl91

I'm alive! / Hello 2016!

Hello guys! It has been another year already and no worries I'm still alive hehe! I'm more active over at my Dayre because it is kinda more of my private space and I can write whatever things I want there because I only told those who are close to me that I have a dayre and so far I only have 2 followers LOL.
Firstly wanna wish you all a happy new year! I know is a little late but is better than never :p So the last post that I stopped was talking about my Bali trip in 2015. But I don't think I want to continue there because I think I cannot really remember already LOL. Maybe I can continue when I find back those pictures hehe.
I do not have any 2016 resolutions because I personally feel we only live once, maybe a goal this year is to save more money and travel more #keepcalmandtravel and also to build up friendships with friends who has stick with me throughout for many years or even for last year. Of course for good health every year!
I think I remember blogging about leaving my previous printing job because the company wants to dismiss me in a way because they want to cut down the manpower... which I think is an absurd reason. Well, i don't really care as long as I get my correct compensation is alright for me to leave the company. Moreover I was there for slightly more than 2 years, and I thought I should look for better job to build up my future and also my experience. I was quite worried that I couldn't find a better paying job for next year so I target myself to find job within 3 months haha. But by God's grace I manged to find a job after a month of being jobless hahaha and ya, I'm currently working in a hotel line right now, but will only release more information once I get confirmation ok!!! So yup.
I will blog more when I have more time!

Bali virgin trip 2015!

Hello guys!!! *waves* I'm back with some updates! How are you guys? I hope you are doing good! The haze has been very bad, is like coming back and forth. There were a few times it hit 300 psi and boy the haze smells super bad!!
Since I have some time to kill at home and got hold some of the photos taken from Bali (well not all yet but I think is good enough (?)) so I shall make this blog alive again!!
We had been planning for this trip for quite some time and finally we make it come true! Usual air ticket price to Bali is quite expensive is like slightly more than SGD300 just by going 2 days. But we managed to get hold on the promotion given by Jetstar which is $0 for return ticket! But $0 is fake la because haven't include Tax and whatever misc costing. So we decided to go for 3D2N because sissy can't take one more day off as she was still in probation so like ok loh. And another reason being in order to enjoy the $0 return we only can choose to fly back on a weekday and at like close to midnight timing. Despite few debations like why the time so sucks all that, we decide to just go for it because the deal is super awesome!

We didn't take any phots at the airport or during the flight because I feel there is no need to hahaha.
Anyway, here's some photos taken in day one! We touched down like 1pm in the afternoon. The good thing there is no time difference between Singapore and Bali so don't have to worry about that :)

We ordered their so called room-service but actually they buy the food from outside and send it to us haha. We were all feeling hungry despite having breakfast before we took our flight.
Sorry I was kinda bored so took the gopro and start selfiing hahaha.
Then we decided to head out and take a tour around Bali since we wanted to just relax on the first day and we have some time to kill.
Then at night we decided to chill and jump in to our private pool!!! But we didn't take much photos because the sun is down and the lighting was not that good.
Yup! That was the end of our Day one in Bali!

Random Updates

Hello guys! *waves* How you guys been? It has been almost exactly a month since my last post. Well, I have been updating quite promptly over at my dayre because my life has been pretty much the same, so a dayre is good enough for me to update of those small details of my daily life. So I shall put blogger for me to blog like bigger post or something haha or when I have massive photos to put and show it to you guys to see :p
Just a few more days and we are going to welcome the month of October. Well, just to let you guys know I'll be resigning my current company. I was asked to resign in fact, because the boss claim that the company's sales had not been well for the past 6 months, yes I somewhat quite agree because I'm the one who is keep track of the sales list. I had not been really open about what I feel about this especially in social media because for me it is quite sensitive issue and i'm a person who actually care about what people think.
Moving on, I had already planned to leave this company by end of this year but I want to stay a bit longer because firstly I have an upcoming holiday trip to Taiwan and I need money for my expenses haha, secondly I wanted to wait till bonus then I tender my resignition. Don't ask me how I feel because i'm feeling happy, sad and a bit worried and peace at the same time LOL. Happy because I finally get to leave this company, sad because I kinda 舍不得this place especially the coffee at the canteen, a bit worried because my parents, some of my friends and leaders ask me then have I looked for a job already when will I look for job. Wah job job job I hear until I'm sick of it and I always wanted to roll eyes at them. Some may know I've been working AND studying part time degree at the same time for slightly more than 2 years. I'm physically AND mentally drained and I seriously need time to rest my mind and my soul. Tbh I know jobs nowadays are difficult to find but even I look for job now the company won't be able to hire me right away because interview and sending out resumes takes time and most likely companies will start hiring maybe end of this year or start of next year where many people are leaving the company after bonus.
Finally peace. Why? Because not only I was already prepared myself to leave the company, but I also feel that God will open another opportunity for me. I won't elaborate much because I had not gotten much confirmation yet from God lol so ya I will just let it flow.
休息是为了走更长的路 that's what I always tell myself when I have setback. #thistooshallpass according to my tattoo hehe
Anyway, past few days I was quite packed with activities especially over the weekend. So last Saturday my church was having School of Theology graduation service and so happy that two of my members graduated successfully! Hooray! *throws confetti* I shall let photos do the talking!
Every year without fail when there is this service my friends will ask me when am I going to join. I was like see how see how lol. Ok not going to disclose much here :p
Then the next day which was sunday, went to Green Corridor for a short trekking trip with those below! :) All ready and excited and I was sincerely hope that it won't rain that day. Well turn out that the haze was not that heavy and no rain, hooray!
We managed to walk 2.4KM hahaha not so bad la and our final destination was the famous Bukit Timah Railway station which was used to open for public to go down and take photos now like no much people one loh.
My eyes is like winking because the sun is too bright!! I cannot...
The sun was really no mercy and we were quite drained out by just a short trekking hahaha. I don't know is it because we are old already or because we are unfit or other thing lol. But it was a good one! I don't mind to do it another time! Maybe to tree top.. But I need a good sports attire first ):
Moving on, my latest update would be last monday! The section leaders and WS's usher team came down and we all had a farewell dinner for him as he's going to enlist to NS next week T.T Went to Saizriya and their food still taste pretty decent and so is the price! The funny thing about that night was most of the guys had 2 main course LOL like a plate of pasta plus a plate of beef/chicken/pork plus pizzas and side dish, geez.
Yup! The middle one in grey is WS! Gonna miss serving with you and talking all the nonsense and sing song together or just randomly sing a song and you'll follow me hahaha.
Oh this waiter sure have some skills in taking photo. The leaders in the group chat were saying this group photo was so nicely taken. Good angle bro. Forgive you because we actually asked him if we can open the big table where all 11 of us can sit together but apparently he rejected us by saying that section is closed. But since he managed to take such a nice shot, ok la hahaha.
Now the haze has been on and off, remember to try to stay indoors as much as possible guys! If not please wear a mask!

Genting and KL trip

Hi guys! I'm here to blog about my KL trip happened... months ago >.< although I know not many people reads my blog because i'm not a blogger, secondly i didn't tell a lot of people that I have a blog and thirdly I only share my blog to those friends on my twitter as is a private account and those that followed me are based on my approval.. so yup you get the geezs of it (Y)
Shortly after we came back from KL, we get to know there was some disharmony between the Muslims and the Chinese back there and... killing was involved. The incident happend around the shopping area that we actually went too. I was so thankful that we actually make the trip earlier if not I don't think i'll be back safe and sound >.< But anyway, that was the past already and I think now the incident has tone down and I guess everything is almost back to normal there.
Had a good 3D2N trip from Genting to KL. We actually took the tour bus up to Genting first and we reached there about midnight. I did step into the casino as it was my first time ever since I was in legal age. They all say that I should have beginners luck and I told them that I don't have because when I went in for the first time as well at Malacca I actually made some loss LOL. And indeed this time round I lost too, 600RM!!! omg I quickly stopped and since we stayed up till morning I keep battling the zzz monster because I didn't really rest in the tour bus. So we decide to head for breakfast while waiting for the rest to finish up whatever they are playing.
From Genting we reached KL like early afternoon and our rooms was still not ready. I was super cranky because I was damn tired as I didn't really rest during the trip. I was super reluctant to go to the shopping mall because it was quite a bit of walking distance but nonetheless I still go la if not I go where lol.
So all the pictures are taken in KL.
This was the room and the bathroom. Was not so bad and quite clean. The only thing is I prefer it to be carpeted haha. But it cheap la so ok loh

And next comes the food! It was pretty decent!
And then we were off for some night life! While waiting for a few more people...
This part was super epic haha I still find it funny whenever I think about this scenario. Wong, who is the one above keep losing all the way when we playing Open Numbers. No... we didn't cheat!! haha some of us lost during the game also but this guy is the ultimate... loser lol!! for the game la.
Girly moment. Oh I did not share my super cute handphone cover is brought is Hong Kong last year! Is super cute ok because is Shin-Chan haha although I'm not really a fan of this manga.
And then the next day, with all just wake up face because we want to wake up early for breakfast at the next door.
Overall the trip was quite a good one, but of course the company is the main enjoyment. Going out on a short road trip pretty much depend on the company. Although we sure have disagreement at times but I believe we are old enough to solve it and make it a happy ending! haha. Ok la is nothing much relate to this post is just my thoughts.
And now, I can't wait for my upcoming Bali trip! I will try to post if I have a chance to! For now, till then~ and thanks for reading!
